Stephen King on Early Show 200

He talks about the accident that almost killed him, and the things that he shared with the man who almost killed him.

Then he goes on to talk about his book Dream catcher and things that make you squirm.

  1. Hi Savannah,

Yes, he has. Have you ever read his book On Writing? King worked on it while he recovered from the accident. In it he tells about growing up poor and his earlier experiences in writing. At the end of the book he tells about the accident that nearly killed him, his recovery and getting back into writing. It took him a long time before he was able to walk again without the aid of crutches.

  2. Thank you so much, Janice. I remember when this happened and thinking how strong he was. One of my favorite tapes is of him reading his short story LT’s Theory of Pets.
